Competitive Speed Skating Programs

Skate Fast, Turn Left

The goal of the competitive programs is to provide skaters with a pathway of developmentally appropriate instruction to progress towards new personal bests, provincial & inter-provincial meets or onto national podiums. Dartmouth Crossing Speed Skating follows athlete development principles and practices developed by Speed Skating Canada, and is aligned with Safe Sport principles.

Entry to the Competitive Programs must be approved by the Head Coach.

On entry to the program, participants must complete the Participant Agreement and submit it to the Head Coach.

Skates are not provided for these programs, but the club maintains an inventory of speed skates that are available for rental. Info is available at this link.

People and culture

Our people are what make us unique. Rather than outsourcing our construction engineers from questionable outsourcing establishments, we provide them with an environment that supports professional growth.

We are strong believers in giving our employees a voice. Our teams are put together with the help of our resident psychologist to ensure maximum productivity and engagement.
