ABOUT THE CLUB
People, progress and the ice.
A welcoming speed skating community for skaters, families and volunteers in the Dartmouth area.
WHO WE ARE
A community built around speed skating.
Founded in 2016, Dartmouth Crossing Speed Skating Club helps skaters discover the sport, develop their skills and enjoy being part of a supportive team. From first steps on the ice to competitive racing, athletes are encouraged to progress at their own pace.
Our club is built on the efforts of skaters, coaches, families and volunteers who share a love of speed skating, sportsmanship and community.
FIND YOUR PATH
Skating for every stage.
Our four skating groups help athletes progress from fundamental skating skills to competitive training. Coaches help skaters and families identify a suitable starting point and opportunities for progression.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE CLUB
Experienced coaches. Encouraging mentors.
Led by Head Coach Todd Landon, our coaching team includes people with international national-team experience, Canada Winter Games backgrounds and a strong commitment to grassroots development. They help skaters build confidence, improve technique and enjoy the ice.
COMMUNITY & VOLUNTEERS
More than skating.
Our club relies on volunteers who assist with meets, events, fundraising, equipment and everyday club activities. Families and athletes help create a welcoming environment on and off the ice.
